SANS 10400 Reference Error EN 14064

On several occasions I’ve heard debate about a reference in SANS 10400 part T in Section 4.58 Guest Houses and bed and breakfast accommodation.  It states that the suitable smoke alarm to be installed should complies with the relevant requirements of EN 14064.  EN 14064 refers to Thermal Insulation Products for Buildings, which naturally causes some confusion.

Can I offer the very simple explanation that it intended to say complies to EN 14604 – Standard for Smoke Alarm Devices.

Just my humble opinion but I think it makes sense.
